It is important for us as adult Christians to study God's Word. It allows the Holy Spirit to continue to strengthen our faith as we grow in the knowledge of the Lord, fill us with hope and peace, and encourage us to reach out to others with His message of salvation.
Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study Opportunities
A Man Named Martin -- Learn more about the man who changed the world by taking a stand on God's Word.
God Connects – For those who would like to know more about what we believe, teach and confess in the Lutheran Church, this study takes an in--depth look at our core teachings. It lasts approximately 11 weeks. This class can serve as an adult confirmation course, but can also be deeper learning for those who are interested in a refresher or an orientation to membership at Resurrection.
Women's Bible Study -- This group meets on Monday evenings at 5:30 at Resurrection. Together they decide what direction they want their study to take and usually select a theme that lasts for six to eight weeks. A new study entitled "Living the Chocolate Life" began March 20.
Friday Afternoon Bible Study -- Pastor leads a small group Bible study at 2:00 in the conference room.
LWML -- Bible study is always included in the once-a-month meeting of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, which gathers at Resurrection on the second Sunday of each month at 2:00 pm.
